“This is very interesting for our people. Because in recent years, I have already called it a pilgrimage by some Belarusians to Moscow. Especially young people, Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with Chairman of PSB Bank Petr Fradkov (quoted by BelTA).
Ministers of Transport of Russia and Belarus Andrei Nikitin and Alexey Lyakhnovich signed a memorandum on the construction of a high-speed railway (HSR) on the Moscow-Minsk route on October 1. The length of the HSR will be 700 km, and the journey time is about three hours. Annual passenger traffic is projected at 5.8 million people.
