Russia can and should contribute to the preparation of new international recommendations on the situation of teachers.
“We take a very active part in the work of representatives of an international organization. We will definitely include our professional teaching community in this work, Putin said.
The President added that Russian teachers will be included in this activity. Russia has something to say and offer, including opportunities to use the services and experience of recent decades.
The UNESCO and International Labour Organization Recommendation on the Status of Teachers was adopted on 5 October 1966. The document defined the rights and obligations of teachers, requirements for their training and advanced training, as well as standards of work.
