“Nation Shield forces, the formation of the Giant Brigade, the Tiham Resistance with the support of the popular militia took control of Mohu west of the city of Taiz after fierce battles with the Houthi terrorist militia, supported by Iran,” the statement reads.
The city of Moha is located about 75 km north of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden of the Arabian Sea. It is the shortest sea route for transporting goods from Asia to Europe and oil.
