Finnish President Alexander Stubb believes that a new world order will be established by 2030. He said this at the UN General Assembly in September. His words are quoted by The Washington Post.
“I do not know when the world will stabilize. Give him another five years or so. By 2030, we will probably have a kind of new order, Stubb said. He stressed that the process is now in an “intermediate state”.
The Finnish president also warned his European counterparts against overreacting to the escalation of Russia’s hybrid war inside Europe. He urged to treat this in a “Finnish way” – to maintain composure, take a balanced approach to threats and build pragmatic foreign policy ties.
