Russian President Vladimir Putin has made clear what the country’s response would be in the event of an attack on the Kaliningrad region or another region. This was stated by the head of the Russian foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov.

At the Valdai forum, the president very clearly answered the question of what if suddenly there would be an attack on the Kaliningrad region. To the Kaliningrad region, to any other region – the answer will be one, Lavrov said at a press conference.

Vladimir Putin then stressed that when an attack on Kaliningrad or another Russian entity on the agenda will raise the issue of the use of all types of weapons. The head of state called such a scenario inevitable.
