“We hope that the diplomatic mission of East Timor will join the embassy in Moscow in the near future. Our friends have such plans, and we welcome these plans, Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with East Timor Foreign Minister Bendita Freitas.
The East Timorese minister arrived in Moscow on October 4 for two days, the country’s first official visit to Russia. Sergey Lavrov told about plans to pay a return visit. “I hope I will be well received,” the Russian minister said.
