A teenager from Russia, who suffered in an accident in Phuket, fell into a coma. He was hospitalized in one of the medical institutions of the province. This was reported by TASS Consul General of Russia in the island province of Yegor Ivanov.

The accident involving two motorcycles occurred about 03:00 local time (23:00 GMT) on October 5. A Russian born in 1994 died. According to sources “RIA Novosti” and TASS, the deceased is the son of the former mayor of Makhachkala Askhabali Musayev. The Consulate General assists the man's relatives in repatriating the body. Police are investigating the incident.

According to Telegram-channel Shot, the underage guy went to friends on a bike taxi. His moped collided head-on with another bike driven by Askhabali Musayev. From a powerful blow, the teenager flew to the sidewalk and lost consciousness. The son of a former official died in hospital. The driver of the bike taxi died on the spot, Shot claims.

Relatives of the teenager told the Telegram channel that he is in an extremely serious condition. He's already had one surgery. The guy severely damaged the jaw, nose and other facial bones.
