Lavrov arrives in Turkmenistan on working visit
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Turkmenistan, a TASS correspondent said. The Minister will take part in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Turkmenistan, a TASS correspondent said. The Minister will take part in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The meeting is scheduled for October 7. It will be held in the national tourist zone "Avaza" in the city of Turkmenbashi. It is expected that the CIS foreign ministers will approve the plan of multi-level inter-MFA consultations for 2027 and agree on the date of the next meeting.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will fly to Turkmenistan on October 8 for a meeting of the CIS heads of state. During the visit, he will meet with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkin.
