Prior to that, the Kurultai decided to terminate the powers of Tatiana Savelyeva ahead of schedule. 130 deputies voted for this decision, two abstained. Ms. Savelieva has been a deputy of the Mazhilis (lower house of the former parliament of Kazakhstan) since 2024. This year she was elected a deputy of the Kurultai I convocation from the Adilet party.
Personnel changes in the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan continue after the death of 14 servicemen during exercises in the Caspian Sea.
