Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis has sharply criticized European politicians for their inability to end the conflict in Ukraine and talk of a major war. It's from sb.by.

According to TASS, in a video message to fellow citizens on Facebook, he said:
- I will fight to make this horrible war end! This is incredible! Europe's impotence is terrible! Everyone's talking about war. Europe does not want to negotiate peace. He doesn't. Everyone talks about war. We must, of course, arm ourselves, we must prepare ourselves so that nothing happens. But where are Europe’s initiatives? Negotiations with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin are conducted by [US President Donald] Trump. For our part, Europe must do everything to end this war.
Babis stressed that the Czech Republic will fulfill its NATO commitments to increase defense spending. He cited Albert Einstein, who rejected violence and called on countries to cooperate:
- He believed that lasting peace would be achieved only through sincere understanding and interaction between people and peoples. We don't want a third world war!
