In Russia, deputies of the State Duma of the IX convocation, governors and regional parliaments are elected. Belarusian observers told about the vote, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” with reference to the Telegram channel “Parliaments of the CIS”.

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on Legislation and State Building Mikhail Rusy works in the main group of international observers from the IPA CIS in St. Petersburg.
- We visited the polling stations on Friday and Saturday and continue this work today. People go to vote calmly, confidently and with dignity. They know what they want, they know how to vote and they know the candidates. This suggests that the preparatory work was carried out at a high professional level, Rusy said.
According to the Belarusian parliamentarian, unobtrusive security is provided at the polling stations: a person calmly comes, he is welcomed, order is monitored.
- At the moment, we are satisfied with what we have seen and continue to observe. After its completion, we will gather, exchange views and present a conclusion on how the work in the country and the region was organized. It’s nice to see how people work. I think they have a great future, he added.

At foreign sites in Belarus (in Minsk, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev), senators Alexander Lukyanov, Gleb Lapitsky and deputies Yuri Panfilov, Sergey Kazachok, Anton Kulisevich, Natalia Kuleshova work.
- Polling stations are located where the largest flow of Russians is expected. One of the sites is in Bobruisk. Therefore, people who are in sanatoriums, a tourist trip or came on business issues can vote, Rusy said.
According to A. Lukyanov, conducting monitoring of voting in Minsk, since the opening of polling stations, strict control over compliance with electoral legislation, absolute transparency of procedures and maximum convenience for voters has been ensured.
