According to TASS, in an interview with Fox News, he said:
- We agreed today that we will extend the Busan agreement [aimed at] economic detente between the two countries, which was due to end on November 10. It will be extended until January 10, which will give us more time to understand what can be done in the economic sphere.
According to the results of the meeting of the leaders of the United States and China held in Busan on October 30, 2025, the parties agreed to partially reduce duties, extend the suspension of mutual tariffs and abolish some trade and economic restrictions.
