The unprecedented wave of protests in France has exposed the country’s growing financial problems, which could cause a serious crisis in Europe. It's from sb.by.

As TASS notes with reference to CNN, the chief economist for Europe at the consulting company Oxford Economics Angel Talaver said:
- The likelihood of the crisis spreading to other countries and the eurozone as a whole is very high and could potentially trigger a major crisis across the region.
Protests by high school students began in late September in the Ile-de-France metropolitan region and quickly turned into riots, covering the whole of France. In some cities, there have been serious clashes between protesters and police. For example, in the commune of Lance (Pas de Calais in the north of the country), one of the demonstrators, according to preliminary data, was torn off his hand. Since the beginning of the protests, gendarmes and police officers have carried out more than 6.6 thousand arrests, in 90% of cases minors were arrested. In France, police will stop using stun grenades at protests of schoolchildren after the wounding of a teenager
