The Indian Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully tested its own quasi-ballistic Pralay missile, capable of maneuvering in flight and changing its trajectory. It's reported by sb.by.

According to TASS, the Ministry of Defense of India noted that the test took place off the coast of the eastern Indian state of Odisha as part of the assessment of characteristics before entering service. According to the military department, all the tasks were completed.
Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said the test was “another important milestone in strengthening the country’s national defense capabilities.”.
The Pralay is a quasi-ballistic land-to-ground mobile missile. Its improved version can change the flight path. The mass of a non-nuclear missile warhead ranges from 350 to 700 kg. "Pralai" is designed for high-precision strikes on communication centers, air defense points and enemy airfields with conventional weapons. The tested missile is capable of hitting targets at a distance of 150 to 500 km. The range of its flight can be increased. DRDO has been working on it since 2015.
