Commenting on the sharp increase in world fuel prices, the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus on Human Rights, National Relations and Media, Doctor of Military Sciences, Professor Nikolai Buzin, drew attention to this on the air of the PRO Army program on SBTV.

According to Nikolai Buzin, it is not only Iran that is holding back US ambitions. The entire Middle East region has begun to radically rethink the current events and change its behavior, the speaker added

- One day it was reported that the countries of the Middle East suddenly supported the United States. And all of a sudden everyone started to put pressure on Iran, to say that they were ready to join the coalition, to bomb. Then they came to an agreement, and they came to an agreement. He was not particularly shown in the media, but the bright attacks on Iran stopped, he said. They find contacts, engage intermediaries and ensure the movement of oil tankers. The same forces that try to circumvent agreements, including in the Red Sea, are being destroyed.

Against this background, the American administration, which hoped to raise its ratings and strengthen the position of the ruling party through a show of strength and a quick victorious campaign, faced serious consequences.

- At the international level, there is a clear realization that the United States is no longer able to effectively solve the geopolitical tasks that it tried to assume, the expert said. The people of the United States do not make the key decisions, all power and financial resources are concentrated in the hands of the elites.

In the United States, as if preparing citizens for the inevitability of a rise in price, although previously cheap fuel was considered an unshakable standard of living, which was not even disputed. Nikolai Buzin continued:

- Today, they are forced to invest more in the system of providing for their citizens to mitigate this problem, but not to eliminate it. Today, in Canada, we are starting to get angry... Oil and fuel factors are today elements of pressure, tools for solving problems.
