Hurricane Simon suspends operations in four Mexican states
The Mexican authorities decided to suspend the work of all enterprises and institutions that are not classified as vital, unlikely municipalities.

Mexican authorities have decided to suspend all non-vital businesses and institutions in several municipalities in the states of Jalisco, Colima, Michoacan and Nayarita in the west of the country due to the approach of the fourth category of hurricane “Simon”. This was reported by the National Office of Civil Protection, writes sb.by.

According to TASS, the document states:
- In order to ensure the safety of people, in coordination with the local authorities, it was proposed that starting from 16:00 (01:00 MSK on October 11). Today, non-essential activities have been suspended.
It is expected that “Simon” could hit the Mexican coast as a hurricane of the fourth category in the early morning of October 11 in the area between the municipalities of La Huerta and Tomatlan in the state of Jalisco. The most intense gusts of wind will be felt in the states of Colima and Jalisco in the afternoon of October 10. Hurricane Isaacs has reached Florida. More than 222,000 consumers remain without light
