The United States is delaying the delivery of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems to Lithuania. This drew the attention of the commander of the army of the Baltic Republic, General Raimundas Vaiksnoras, writes sb.by.

According to TASS, a senior military official told LRT:
- HIMARS delivery delayed. I can't tell you how much. It depends entirely on the American side and is probably related to their industry.
Vaiksnoras stressed that Lithuanian calculations have already been trained. According to him, there is no cause for concern, because there is an agreement with the National Guard of Michigan on the temporary deployment of similar systems in Lithuania.
By the way, Lithuania in 2022 signed a contract for $ 495 million for the purchase of 8 HIMARS installations, and in April 2026 – an additional agreement for $ 280 million. Vilnius had previously planned to receive the systems by the end of 2026.
