According to the forecasts of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS, weak magnetic storms of the G1 level are expected on the night of November 6-7. The reason is the impact of a large coronal hole on the Earth. The period of geomagnetic disturbances can be quite long this time - from five to seven days.
The further development of the geomagnetic environment depends on the characteristics of the solar plasma flux, which are still unknown. Experts do not exclude that storms can go into a strong category.
Full stabilization of the magnetic field is expected no earlier than the second half of next week, November 13-14.
