SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that he will rename the company’s artificial intelligence division to SpaceXSI, after the US president announced that he will be renaming it.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that he will rename the company’s artificial intelligence division to SpaceXSI, after US President Donald Trump began to insist on using the term “superintelligence” instead of “artificial intelligence”, writes sb.by.

“Yes, we’re going to make that change,” Musk told X, who asked him if SpaceXAI could be renamed SpaceXSI.
As reported by Reuters, at the time of publication of this message, SpaceXAI account on the X network has not been changed.
Musk did not provide any further information regarding the name change and did not give a possible timeline for when it will happen.
In a speech to the U.N. General Assembly last month, Trump said: "From now on, all documents of the United States of America, and hopefully around the world, will use the much more accurate term "over" rather than "artificial." So it's superintelligence.
