German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that the ruling coalition of the CDU / CSU and the SPD will remain united - he completely excludes its collapse. It's from sb.by.

Speaking at a conference of the Federal Association of German Foreign and Wholesale Trade in Berlin, Merz stressed that the government’s course remains unchanged: the authorities continue to implement the measures agreed on July 1 at a meeting of the coalition committee. The disappointing results of the September 6 elections in Saxony-Anhalt do not affect the current work of the Cabinet.
“We are an elected government, our mandate is four years and I am elected for four years,” said Friedrich Merz. I want to use this time to bring the country out of a difficult phase.
The wave of discussions about the possible resignation of Merz rose against the backdrop of the defeat of the Christian Democrats in the regional elections in Saxony-Anhalt and sharp disagreements in the government over the planned reforms. An additional blow to the Chancellor's credibility was the ambiguous personnel decisions he made in the summer.
Merz supported the initiative of the European Commission to create a trade alliance outside the WTO
