A five-storey apartment building in the Simapuri district of the Indian capital has killed at least two people and injured eight others.
According to TASS, citing the newspaper Hindustan Times, eight people were removed from the rubble. They were injured and taken to hospital. At the scene of the incident, rescue efforts are continuing and a search for people who may remain under the rubble.
Delhi police have launched an investigation into what happened. It is not excluded that the house collapsed due to the demolition of neighboring buildings.
