According to TASS, his office quotes his statement:
Europe is experiencing difficulties in the energy sector. And it is not only a lack of resources, but also the fact that completely unreasonable and suicidal decisions are made. In these circumstances, we must defend our own interests and at the same time monitor the actions of others, because they directly affect us. What is said, thought and done in Berlin has a direct impact on us.
Milanovic noted that the republic should start considering the possibility of building a nuclear power plant to combat the energy crisis.
Zagreb and Ljubljana jointly operate the Krško nuclear power plant in southeastern Slovenia. Its first unit was built by the American company Westinghouse in 1983. In connection with the projected termination of its work, it is planned to build a second power unit of the power plant. Germany from October 1, will introduce a discount on gasoline amid the energy crisis in the EU
