The U.S. wants any agreement with Tehran to guarantee Iran’s lack of nuclear weapons and capabilities to develop a nuclear program. This was announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, writes sb.by.

At a press conference with Greek Foreign Minister Yorgos Gerapetritis, Marco Rubio said: Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. Period. He added that he would not go into details about what is acceptable and what is not. “But they will not have a nuclear programme. “Anything they would agree to, which the United States would consider acceptable, would imply that Iran would not have nuclear weapons,” he said.
