According to TASS, the increase in the crime rate was reported by Europa Press with reference to the chairman of the Supreme Court of Andalusia, Lorenzo del Rio.

According to the agency, since August this year, the number of offenses has increased by 60% compared to August and September 2025. Against this background, the number of judicial personnel in the city has increased. Del Rio noted that the problem is not a judicial one, but "humanitarian, social and political in nature" and "the justice system cannot intervene to address this" situation.
