Many voters want to vote by mail, while others prefer a personal presence.
D. Trump has repeatedly made statements about vote fraud in the 2020 elections, including when voting by mail. His administration has tried to tighten postal voting rules, but the Supreme Court in September did not approve the changes.
Some Republicans have previously noted that refusing to vote in the mail could reduce turnout in rural areas, where a large portion of the Trump electorate is concentrated and where many live far from polling stations.
According to a Reuters poll, the approval rating of the American leader is kept at a record low of 32%. Registered voters favor Democrats — 44 percent to 37 percent. Among those who do not belong to any party, Democrats scored 37% against 21% of Republicans, and 28% are not yet decided on the choice.
