According to TASS, in a publication in Truth Social, Donald Trump said that in the continuation of last week’s meeting with the heads of companies Google, Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, xAI and Nvidia announces the creation of “Superintelligence Forces”. “The task of the Superintelligence Forces will be to coordinate the efforts of the federal government to ensure the world leadership of the United States in the field of superintelligence, which, in the opinion of many, is larger than the industrial revolution and the Internet, and to protect the interests and improve the quality of life of Americans,” he explained.
Donald Trump also said that the new working group will coordinate the actions of the authorities with consumers, social activists, religious organizations, heads of critical infrastructure and IT companies.
According to him, the new structure will be headed by Director of US National Intelligence Jay Clayton, Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Andrew Ferguson, Deputy Secretary of Defense for R&D Emil Michael and Director of the Office of Personnel of the Federal Government Scott Cooper.
