Leaked personal data of 8.8 million people from the Central register of individuals (CPR) occurred in Denmark, writes sb.by.

As reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of science, higher education and digitalization, we are talking about illegal actions. In the hands of unauthorized persons got the names, addresses and social security numbers. Denmark has a population of more than 6 million, and the leak also includes information about those who have died or emigrated.
The CPR contains data on approximately 11 million people. Those with an address or numbers protected were not injured. The investigation is carried out by the police, the case is transferred to the data protection office. “I urge all residents to be vigilant,” said Christina Egelong, Minister of Science, Higher Education and Digitalization.
