In the Netherlands, an explosion near a residential building – unexploded explosive devices were found on the spot

A powerful explosion occurred on the night of September 21 near an apartment building in the city of Utrecht in the province of the same name in the Netherlands, the residents were evacuated. It's from sb.by.

As noted by TASS with reference to the portal Hart van Nederland, the explosion occurred around 02:00 (03:00 Minsk time). - Editor's note) in a residential area in the south of Utrecht. It was so strong that even residents of several other areas, including the city center, heard it.

Due to the detonation, the facade and windows of the apartment building were severely damaged. The shock wave knocked out windows in a building on the opposite side of the street. Footage from the doorbell camera, published by RTV Utrecht, shows how immediately after the explosion the street was covered with thick smoke.

Emergency services, including sappers, quickly arrived at the scene of the emergency. They found and seized unexploded explosive devices that would be defused by controlled detonation in a safe place. Residents of the house were urgently evacuated, they are in a temporary placement.
