In Poland, a scandal broke out because of the materials of one of the newspapers: the media reported that at the Polish-American Business Summit in New York they offered to buy a meeting with Polish President Karol Navrotsky.

According to TASS, the Center for Development Strategies Foundation, which organized the forum, included a personal meeting with Navrotsky in the Platinum package for $100,000. At the same time, as noted, there were no people willing to take advantage of the offer.

The reaction of the authorities was not long in coming. Government spokesman Adam Shlapka in the social network X doubted the admissibility of gaining access to the President through a large payment. Deputy Defense Minister Cesar Tomchik, in turn, urged Navrotsky to publicly comment on the situation.

The administration of the President denied the charges. Spokesman Rafal Leskevich called the publications absurd and said that participation in the forum and meetings with Navrotsky were not tied to financial contributions. Ukraine will receive from Poland oil products for $ 500 million
