As noted by TASS with reference to the newspaper The i Paper, the launch took place last week from a 12-meter underwater vehicle Excalibur. As previously reported by the British media, the drone with a displacement of about 19 tons can travel up to 1,000 nautical miles and autonomously stay under water for up to five days. It was built in Plymouth.

The torpedo, whose characteristics were not disclosed, was developed by the United States and Australia and is designed to destroy ships and submarines.
