As TASS notes with reference to the results of the analysis conducted by Agence France-Presse on the basis of data from the state price monitoring system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as of 10:30 (11:30 Minsk time). On September 20, a liter of diesel on average cost €2.4097. The calculation is based on prices for more than 8.7 thousand filling stations throughout the country.

The increase in the cost of fuel is observed against the background of serious supply disruptions caused mainly by the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier, the French authorities announced plans to extend measures to support citizens who are forced to regularly make long trips by car for work.
