Residential neighborhoods and streets were flooded in Da Nang on Thursday, with water levels in some areas reaching more than waist-high, exceeding 1 meter. Rescue teams helped evacuate the children and move the belongings of residents to a safe place.
According to state media, a man went missing after a boat carrying him and his wife capsized on a local river on Wednesday afternoon. The woman was saved.
