Serbian authorities will allocate 20,000 tons of diesel from reserves to the market in order to prevent price increases, but the situation in winter can be difficult. This statement was made by the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic, writes sb.by.

According to TASS, he said on Radio and Television of Serbia:
- I am concerned about the winter ahead, but we know our task: we must maintain stability, peace and ensure the uninterrupted supply of the market, guaranteeing consumers access to oil products and gas. It won't be easy, but I believe we will.
According to the Serbian president, the authorities are sending an additional 20,000 tons of diesel fuel to the market:
- We will keep prices lower than in other countries for as long as possible.
Vucic also pointed out that Belgrade cannot influence world oil prices due to the lack of its own production.
