The company "Volga main collector" (VMC) intends to apply to the court with a statement on the recognition of the brewing company "Baltika" bankrupt, said in a statement on the Fedresurs.

Baltika’s debt to the company amounted to 94.19 million rubles, as established by the Arbitration Court of the Samara region in March, the report said.

RBC sent a request to the press service of Baltika.

Baltika is one of the leaders of the Russian alcohol industry. The company owns eight factories in the country, where beer is bottled under the brands Baltika, Zatecky Gus, Zhigulevskoye, Arsenalnoye and Flash Up. Baltika also occupies more than 50% of the non-alcoholic beer market in the country, according to the company’s website.

The press service of Baltika told Kommersant that the company had no signs of financial insolvency. The actions of VMC in the company are regarded as a deliberate step to influence the court decision on the eve of the scheduled meeting of the Arbitration Court.

According to the file of arbitration cases, on October 26, the VMC sent four claims to Baltika - for 39.9 million, 55.1 million, 55.7 million and 40.6 million. The details of the claims are not disclosed.

Another claim VMC with the requirement to recover from Baltika 888 thousand rubles. sent on October 15 for delay in payment for water supply services for the period April-June 2026.

In September, the court decided to postpone the hearing until November 10 on another claim to recover 49.5 million rubles from Baltika.

Earlier, the inspection of the Federal Tax Service No. 7 in the Omsk region appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Novosibirsk region with the requirement to declare insolvent LLC “Brewery “Siberian Legend” due to a debt of 244.3 million rubles.
