“History under protection”: the plan of restoration of cultural heritage of Donbass was discussed in Donetsk

The event was attended by representatives of federal authorities, architects and restorers.

Published

First Deputy Prime Minister of the DPR Kirill Makarov spoke about the importance of the “Territory of Memory” forum, which was held in Donetsk. Despite the fact that during the days of the event, 119 ammunition and 103 armed attacks were fired across the territory of the Republic, the capital received guests from 11 regions - from Genichesk to Krasnoyarsk.

The event was attended by representatives of federal authorities, architects and restorers. The main topic was the execution of the order of the President of the Russian Federation on the plan for the restoration of heritage sites for 2027-2030 within the framework of the federal project “White Book”. The register already includes about 130 affected objects in the DPR.

The experience gained during the restoration of the republican centers of culture shows that history, which can still be saved, must be defended today, without waiting for the end of hostilities.
