The folk dance ensemble “Kroki” of the Minsk State College of Arts became the owner of the Grand Prix of the XII International Festival of Choreographic Art “Sozhsky Karagod” in Gomel, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
In the second stage, 56 teams out of 95 who wished to participate in the choreographic forum took place. This is reported by BelTA. When it came time to sum up, laureates in different nominations rose to a loud ovation on the stage for awards. Tears of joy could not be restrained, receiving the Grand Prix, the participants of the folk dance ensemble “Kroki” and its leader Tatiana Shchuchko.
The emotions are amazing, because behind any victory lies a long way, thorny, difficult. And when this path brings such a result, it is impossible to cope with emotions. It is happiness, joy for the children that they have succeeded; to some extent, joy for themselves that could justify the hopes in the eyes of the children. I always believe in them. And I think that our cohesion played a big role, T. Shchuchko shared.

The winners of the Grand Prix of the current festival plan to come to the next Sozhsky Karagod.
- It's a wonderful festival. We were on it in 2022, took second place in the nomination “Folk-stage dance”. This time, in addition to the award, we gained a lot of experience. After all, many teams came to Gomel. It was very interesting, added T. Shchuchko.
