Artists from the Stavropol Territory and Ossetia became prize-winners of the international festival-competition of solo dance

In Grozny summed up the results of the XVII International festival-competition of solo dance named after Mahmud Esambayev. The mayor’s office said that the solemn ceremony of closing and awarding the winners was held at the Vainakh Dance Palace.

The contestants’ performances were evaluated by an international jury headed by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Philosophy, Editor-in-Chief of the Ballet magazine Valeria Uralskaya.

By the decision of the jury, the winners were determined in two nominations - "Solo Dance" and "Couple Dance".

Among the duets distinguished Stavropol residents Alina Vasilchenko and Roman Chichukhin. They became laureates of the third degree.

A pair of dancers from North Ossetia, Irina Sabanova and Vadim Dulaev, received a special prize for their skills from the Minister of Culture of Chechnya, Isa Ibragimov.
