Authors of books for children in the Chuvash language will receive awards

In Chuvashia, the winners of the annual competition of authors of books for children and youth in the Chuvash language were determined. The order on payment of cash bonuses was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic Sergey Artamonov.

This year, the competition commission considered 15 works. The winners were two writers.

Yuri Isayev presented the manuscript of the book “Ar” (“Man”), which included stories and stories about strong men who overcome life difficulties and show character.

Galina Antonova won with the collection “Hayar Nime” (“Severe Nime”). The book includes lyrical and military-patriotic works about home front workers and the traditions of “nime”.

Each of the winners will receive a cash incentive in the amount of 75 thousand rubles.

The competition is aimed at supporting writers and developing children's and youth literature in their native language.
