Chelyabinsk residents were offered to go to Miass with historical performances on the train

This coming weekend, a thematic electric train will depart from Chelyabinsk to Miass. Passengers will have a day trip with historical performances and excursions. The program was prepared for the Tourism Week.

The main theme of the trip is Miass of the XIX century. It was with this period that the gold rush, the development of local merchants and visits of representatives of the imperial family were associated.

Acquaintance with history will begin on the road. An interactive program was prepared for the participants, and after their arrival they will be able to visit the sights of Miass.

The retro tour was organized by the South Ural Railway, the Sverdlovsk Suburban Company, the Project Development Center and tour operators.

Such trips for the Chelyabinsk region are not the first experience. Previously, thematic weekend routes were launched from Chelyabinsk to Troitsk.

And in early October, the region received a tourist train from Samara. Its passengers were offered several excursion destinations at once: Miass, Chrysostom and Taganay National Park.

Inna Khvatkova, Director General of the Center for Design Development of Territories and Tourism of the Chelyabinsk Region, notes that interest in short trips in the region remains high. However, the organization of such routes requires a lot of effort on the part of carriers and tourism business.

According to representatives of the tourism industry, trips for one or two days are becoming more popular among those who want to get acquainted with the history and nature of the Southern Urals without waiting for a full vacation.
