"Chudakov" presented in Petrozavodsk

In the Theater of Drama "Creative Workshop" the premiere of the play "Freaks" based on the play of Maxim Gorky of the same name took place. Each actor in his role was bright and convincing. If we take the play of Gorky, a proletarian writer, as a parody of the eternal intellectual sufferings of Chekhov, it is clear why so much reflection on the peculiarities of the Russian soul, philosophizing, reasoning about love and life in general.

The play in Gorky has the genre of “scenes” (“Scenes in 4 acts”). In theatrical practice, "Chudakov" is often called comedy or tragicomedy. There was nowhere to laugh, though. But to be sad and think about your own stupidity - in every moment. Therefore, friends, if there is an inner strength to reflect on life and its offerings, as well as on human weaknesses and inability to adequately respond to the vicissitudes of fate, then this spectacle is for you.
