"Voices of ancestors": ethnographic complex "Dmynichi" invites to the autumn festival to the sounds of ancient instruments

Cultural and ethnographic complex "Dmynichi" is preparing for the traditional autumn holiday. The main event of the event will be the performance of the collective “Historical Music of the Smolensk Territory”.

Guests will have a unique opportunity to hear an ensemble game on authentic ancient instruments. The program will feature melodies performed on:

wheel lyre;

Smolensk roasting "two";

scattering harp and shepherd pipes;

Russian bagpipes and Belarusian dude;

Smolensk horn, ocarinas and other rare instruments.

The repertoire of the collective includes ritual, household and wedding songs, as well as ancient games that will allow guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the musical culture of our ancestors.
