The creative teams of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts presented the concert program “Art is a mirror of the soul” within the framework of the city youth festival “Formula of Success”. The participants spoke at the venue in the historical and cultural complex "Loshitsky", the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".
- For guests there are soloists-vocalists of the department of folk-song creativity and folklore, the department of pop music and the department of choreography, the string quartet “Arco”, the ensemble of wind instruments, the quartet of cymbalists, the ensemble of soloists “Belarusian Song”, the folk amateur collective of Belarus “The Accordionists Ensemble “Tutti”, the folkloric ensemble “Gramnitsa”. Only about 120 people. Both beginner vocalists and experienced pop artists participate. We try to ensure that students are involved in most city state events and gain stage experience, said Bozhena Nyushkova, Head of the Art Majeure Projects Development Sector.

The students lived every moment on stage. Not only the participants of related groups, but also the concert visitors were allowed to dance.
- Our team was formed more than 45 years ago by Belarusian choral conductor, teacher and honored worker of culture Stanislav Drobysh. Today, Valachobniki, as well as other groups of our department (the ensemble of soloists “Belarusian Song” and “Gramnitsa”), is a creative laboratory for students of four courses. Upon admission, they consciously choose the performing style and it is here that they learn the basics of professional skills. All of them sincerely love folk songs and strive to popularize the Belarusian traditional culture, said Lyudmila Rozhkova, Head of the Department of Folk-Song Creativity and Folklore, Artistic Director of the S. Drobysh People’s Ensemble Valachobniki.

There wasn't much time for rehearsal. If senior courses are already familiar with the repertoire, then newly arrived students only studied it. In four days, they were able to prepare for the performance.
- The first course did very well. We as seniors know the program, and the new ones tried to help and support them. Popular songs were played on the stage. At many concerts, we notice how the audience reacts to the songs we perform. After that, we choose a certain repertoire, which goes to various events, said Anastasia Sitkevich, a member of the folk ensemble Valachobniki.

The program included the songs “Pa Vulitsa, Pa Shyrokai” (in the treatment of N. Lyakhovets), “I go to the huts” L. Shurman, A. Zekov, “At Nyazelu on kirmash” E. Derevyanko, processing G. Nesterovich, “Oh, for the gai, gai” and others.
- Two soloists of the accordionist ensemble "Tutti" performed. This is a third-year student Fedor Antsukh and a fourth-year student Daniil Bakulin. But our team consists of six people - five accordionists, both boys and girls, and a guitarist. The ensemble was created in 1987 by Sukhovarova Lydia. He is currently working under my direction. The concept of the collective has changed somewhat, but we continue to please the residents of Minsk and the whole of Belarus, said Olga Nemtseva, Head of the Department of Folk Instrumental Music, Head of the Tutti Accordionists Ensemble.
The program included works by Belarusian authors – “Kupalle” by V. Fedoruk, “Belarusian joke” by V. Buben, as well as “Carousel” by Y. Shakhnov.

I wanted to become a member of the Tutti ensemble when I was a student of the Gomel State College of Arts, where I was told about this team. Even then I decided that I should enter the university to prove myself in this creative association. The ensemble has a very contrasting and interesting program, constant tours, pop performances, said D. Bakulin.
