The International Festival of Dance and Music in Thailand was officially opened by the artists of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus. The ballet “Romeo and Juliet” with its presence honored the King of Thailand His Majesty Maha Vajiralongkorn with his wife, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The auditorium was also attended by members of the royal family, heads of government and self-government bodies, representatives of business circles, the media and the foreign diplomatic corps.
As a guest of honor, the event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam and Thailand (part-time) Vladimir Borovikov. In the “on foot” format, a number of meetings were held with representatives of Thai government agencies and business, cultural and art figures.
The tour of the Belarusian ballet in Bangkok will last until September 13.
