Minsk dances and sings! See how the Palace of Sports celebrates City Day

The theatrical performance “The Legend of Prince Meneska”, embodied by dudars and living statues of Braslav, unfolded before the audience.
Minsk residents and guests of the capital enjoyed the performance of the Belarusian State Academic Honored Choreographic Ensemble “Horoshka” and the Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus of the folklore group “Kupalinka”.
The cultural heritage of Minsk is an invisible thread that connects the past with the present, unites generations. It lives in ancient architecture, is transmitted in urban legends and is felt in the atmosphere of streets, squares, corners of the city.
In the block "Cultural Heritage - the Connection of Generations" the Exemplary vocal ensemble "Song" performed, and then young performers Zakhar Gordej, Lisa Vertinskaya, Stasia Korsak, Arina Shut came to the stage. The Honored Amateur Collective of the Republic of Belarus Theater of the Song “Syabrynka” performed, as well as the Grand Prix winner of the children’s vocal contest “Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk” Amalia Sukhan.
Popular singer Ivan Zdoniuk, not restraining his joy, congratulated Minsk on its 959th anniversary.
- I would like to wish the residents of Minsk and its guests a wonderful mood. And I want to thank the city authorities for organizing the festival “Mood – Summer”. He gave Minnesotans many joyful moments. I think we’ll be surprised again next year, and today we’re artists. I will sing a song in Belarusian that I wrote myself. The city sings and dances and, most importantly, lives, Zdoniuk said.
Ah. Suhan also congratulated the capital on its birthday:
- Peace and more good people. Minsk is my favorite. Wherever I go, I want to go home and play my best songs. I wish to spend this day with my friends and family.
Among the spectators, I notice two charming girls - Minsk women Irina and Kristina. They enjoy dancing.
