For the first Russian-Nenets and Nenets-Russian online dictionary – diploma of the first degree of the Pride of the Nation award. This was reported by the Governor of the NAO Irina Gekht, congratulating Natalia Latysheva, President of the Association of Nenets people “Yasavei”, and her team.
The results of the interregional stage of the VII All-Russian Public Award in the North-Western Federal District were summed up in Veliky Novgorod. Natalia Latysheva became the winner in the nomination “Native languages of the peoples of Russia”.
The dictionary was developed together with scientists of the Lomonosov NAFU with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund and the Administration of the Nenets Autonomous District. It allows you to find translation in both directions and helps those who learn to understand native speech and use it in everyday life.
The association also runs a Nenets language school, Nenei'wada. Classes and digital resources complement each other, provide an opportunity to learn new things and return to the familiar since childhood.
