On television we remember the national writer of Belarus Nikolai Chergints and celebrate the anniversary of Pavel Chukhray

In October, there are many interesting programs about worthy people who devoted themselves to their favorite business. The word about the writer on October 15 and 16 on the TV channel “Culture” will see a documentary essay “Anatoly Pristavin”. Table of contents dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of this recognized Soviet and Russian writer. He is the author of the world-famous novel “The Golden Cloud Nighted” and 25 other beautiful books. On Friday, October 16, the program “Personnel of Life” on the TV channel “Belarus 3” will be dedicated to another outstanding writer, journalist, politician, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, People’s Writer of Belarus Nikolai Chergints, with whom we said goodbye in July this year. On October 17, Nikolai Ivanovich could have turned 89 years old. He devoted his whole life to helping people, and no matter what positions he held, he remained sensitive to human problems. Chergints’ contribution to Belarusian literature is huge – he became the ancestor of the police detective, setting a high canon of the genre. Numerous screen versions of his works have gained real popularity.

Nikolai Cherginets. Appreciate the beauty of the game on October 14, the 80th anniversary was marked by the famous film director, the successor of the glorious cinematic dynasty, the People's Artist of Russia Pavel Chukhrai. By this date, the TV channel “Culture” on October 16 and 18 will present a screen version of Gogol’s “Players” – the comedy “Russian Game”. Also on October 18, we will see the documentary “Everything goes to the cinema” about the work of the director. Recall that in 2004, Chukhrai’s film “Driver for Vera” received several awards at the Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”: the Grand Prix of the festival, the prize for the best female role (Alena Babenko) and the prize for best director.

Pavel Chuhrai. To the 95th anniversary of the famous Russian film director Savva Kulish, the channel “Culture” in the evening air on October 17 will show the biographical film “Rise” about the great Russian scientist, the founder of Soviet cosmonautics Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. The role of the scientist was performed by the poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko. Also among the paintings Kulish famous political detective “Dead season”, the main role in which played the famous actor Donatas Banionis. On October 18, on ONT, the theme of the joint work of Kulish and Banionis will continue the documentary “The Dead Season and the Whole Life of Donatas Banionis”.

Savva Kulish. Vertical Gubaidulina on October 21, the guest of the Enigma program will be the famous Soviet and Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina, who will celebrate her 95th anniversary on October 24. Sofia Asgatovna is a real living classic, the leader of bright avant-garde music. Her symphonic works are performed all over the world by the best orchestras. Like other classic composer Alfred Schnittke, Gubaidulina actively wrote music for cartoons and movies, adding additional spiritual meanings to the screen picture. Without her music today it is impossible to imagine the cartoon “Mowgli”, the drama of Stanislav Govorukhin “Vertical” or “Stuffed” by Rolan Bykov. In total, she wrote music for 25 films. In 2014, the composer was a guest of one of the music festivals in Minsk. Then for the first time in the CIS sounded her work Warum? (“Why?”) for flute, clarinet and strings performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. Gubaidulina is optimistic about the state of affairs in modern music: "Now there is no definite style, there are no prohibitions and restrictions, and every artist freely develops fantasy.".
