On the third Wednesday of the month, that is, today, October 21, residents of Vologda region can visit state and municipal museums of the region for free as part of the project “Culture is near”. To obtain such a ticket, it is enough to present a passport or other document confirming registration in the region. Free visit does not apply to excursion services.
In Vologda from 10.00 visitors are waiting for the Vologda Museum-Reserve and all its branches: the Museum of Lace, “The World of Forgotten Things”, “Vologda Link”, the House of the Merchant Samarin, the House-Museum of Peter I and “Literature”. Art. Century XX. The Semenkovo Museum is also open for visiting. The exhibition is invited by the Vologda Regional Art Gallery, as well as the Korbakov House and the studio of A.V. Panteleyev. The bell tower of Sofia Cathedral does not participate in the action.
