Gennady Starkov was 76 years old. He moved to Barnaul in the early 70s from the Chelyabinsk region. He served as the Altai Regional Drama Theater, and then began teaching at the Altai State Institute of Culture, to which he gave half a century. According to colleagues, the director will be buried in Chebarkul, where he was born in January 1950.
In the Chelyabinsk region, Gennady Vasilyevich managed to work at a metallurgical plant, and then entered the Chelyabinsk Institute of Culture for the Department of Theater Directing. After completing his studies, Gennady Starkov was invited to the Zwilling Chelyabinsk Drama Theatre, where he made his debut in the play based on G. Bokarev’s play “Stalevary” as Sanya.
