Light of goodness and beauty of Leah Kuchko. Personal exhibition of the author opened in the shopping center “Capital”
Exposition of painting by senior lecturer of the Department of Genetics of the Faculty of Biology of the Belarusian State University Lia Kuchko “Light of the Good”.

The exposition of painting by the senior teacher of the Department of Genetics of the Faculty of Biology of the Belarusian State University Liya Kuchko “Light of Good and Beauty” opened on September 7 in the atrium of the shopping center “Capital”, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” reports.
The exhibition was a continuation of the project “Her Hands”, implemented on the initiative of the public association “Belarusian Union of Women”. The social initiative is designed to reveal the beauty and depth of soul of the representatives of the beautiful half of the country. After all, every woman is a keeper of traditions, a carrier of unique energy, the creator of family comfort and warmth. The works of the project participants reflect not only personal stories, but also a rich inner world, a desire to inspire new achievements.

It is no coincidence that each opening of a new exhibition is not just a presentation of the author and a bright event.
This time the tone was set by the artists. The exposition was opened by the children’s dance ensemble of BSU “Litarynka”.

- Each new exhibition of the project “Her Hands Work” is not only the discovery of the artist’s talents, it is also an acquaintance with children’s groups, and this is also important, said Olga Shpilevskaya, Chairman of the Belarusian Women’s Union, Director of the National Branch of the Interstate TV and Radio Company “Mir” in Belarus. Not every artist who writes for himself dares to present his work to the general public. We are very grateful to you, Leah Semyonovna. I am sure that there will be even more fans of your talent, and you will have even more inspiration to create new paintings.

Oh. Spilevskaya noted that the project “Her hands” charity. Each artist who opens a solo exhibition leaves a painting as a gift to the Belarusian Women’s Union. The proceeds from its sale at the auction go to those who especially need support.

“The purpose of the Belarusian Women’s Union is to provide specific assistance, so the opening of the exhibition is not only an acquaintance with painting, but also a contribution to the fact that there is more good on earth,” Shpilevskaya added.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Genetics of the Biological Faculty of BSU Lia Semyonovna Kuchko has been working in the leading university of the country for almost 40 years. Painting for her is not just a hobby, but an important part of life, harmoniously complementing her personality.

- The desire to draw comes from childhood, but to devote a lot of time to this has become the last 15-20 years, said Kuchko. I write mostly in oil. There are so many things that are closer to your heart. At one time she graduated from the Polotsk Medical School, and later the university in the specialty “obstetrician”. Therefore, part of the work is devoted to the origin of life. There are a series of paintings dedicated to temples, flowers, rural life, space, reflection of the internal state.

According to Irina Kazakova, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Chairman of the Primary Organization of the Belarusian Women’s Union of BSU, the author of the exhibition is the soul of the women’s movement of the university.

- There are people who give light, warmth, kindness. Liya Semyonovna is one of them, the professor noted. There are no situations where she does not come to help. Organizes, helps, inspires young people and through creativity brings goodness and beauty to the world.

And young people reciprocate.
- I really liked the exposition, especially the paintings from the “Crooked Mirror” series, Elizaveta Sharko, a 1st year student of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank, shared her impressions. I advise my friends to visit the Capital and touch the world of amazing images.

Her colleagues also speak warmly about the author of the exhibition.
Lia Semyonovna’s paintings reflect her rich inner world and the good deeds she does. Some paintings have been exhibited before. And yet it is gratifying that now they will be seen by guests of the capital, who often visit the shopping center, said Olga Gorbach, Associate Professor of the Department of Media Linguistics and Editing of the Faculty of Journalism, a member of the Board of the primary organization of the BSJ BSU. Participation in the project “Her Hands” is only part of the large work that the women’s organization of BSU is engaged in. We try to surround everyone who needs it with care: we patronize a family-type orphanage, participate in charity events, support people with disabilities. We invite young people to good initiatives: we invite them to the youth wing of the Belarusian Women’s Union.
