Tase of Draniki and folk hits: singer Prokhor Chaliapin met with Minsk residents at the “Soul Festival”

Singer Prokhor Chaliapin participated in the “Soul Festival” in the Palace of Sports on October 17, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

- I love Belarus very much, Minsk. I have many good and wonderful memories from here. I remember how they came to your country with the Factory in 2006 on tour. I am good friends with producer Evgeny Oleynik and his wife, soloist of the group AURA Julia Bykova. I fell in love with their Belarusian hit "First Snow." And I was happy to cooperate. We'll have a concert together soon. In addition, me and Julia came out a new song “River”, – shared the artist.

As the singer noted, he often performs in a duet with stars, for example, with Tatiana Bulanova, daughter of Vitas Alla Gracheva, etc.

- I am very happy to be accepted here and understand my humor. I want to mention the Belarusian cuisine, before the concert I was fed a whole bowl of draniks, I was delighted, nowhere they are so cooked as in this beautiful country. Plus, you have an amazing subway. I came down, I was so surprised. Very beautiful architecture in the city, carefully preserved the center of Minsk. Three or four years ago, I traveled to small towns and villages of Belarus, performed in cultural houses. Everything is clean, everything is renovated, with good sound and light. You can stop at any gas station, eat delicious food, and you will not be poisoned. The quality is high, it is very pleasant, the performer said.

Thanks to blogging, the singer’s career rose rapidly. He managed to overtake many of his colleagues in ratings. Chaliapin himself graduated from the Moscow Music School named after M. M. Ippolitov-Ivanov in 2003 with a degree in “Folk Song Performer”, then in 2009 – the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

- If the public likes you, you will be interesting, even if you have no talent. Now we see how many stars have appeared that can not sing at all. Nevertheless, I am for the artist to be public. We are the people of the world, and we are the people of the world.

The artist also collaborates with modern folk singer Tatiana Kurtukova, who also performed on the stage of the Sports Palace. P. Chaliapin himself starred with her in the video for the song “Aleoshenka”.

- I am pleased that soulful music is gaining popularity now, folk songs come to the fore. But in all this stream of concerts, the main thing is not to work. You need to take care of yourself, relax, walk, come to Belarus, to your sanatoriums. Thank you very much for inviting you to perform and please the audience, the artist added.
